A Year-end UPDATE– the FINAL Hours

Happy NEW YEAR from SOSVV

In 2023's FINAL hours, SOSVV needs your support to meet our year-end funding goals and to prevail in our 2024 strategic Environmental Protection campaigns. We don't shy away from tough battles, to-date we've DEFEATED 4 industrial mining projects, + a public shooting range proposed near the Saint Vrain River; preserved 1,000+ acres +a Bald Eagle nest; procured a moratorium on aerial chemical spraying in Nov 2022–April 2024...let's keep it up!

Our vision for cleaner air & organic Open Spaces is within reach in 2024! Please dig deep, so they won't get too! The challenges we face are as BIG as the POLLUTERS we oppose(d). Together we lay the groundwork for a better future.

If your budget is as tight as your jeans at end of the Holidays, consider a modest, recurring donation of $24 a month in 2024. Did you know that according to Colorado Gives, recurring donors are 5Xs more valuable to nonprofits than 1X time donors? #24-4-2024.

For the cost of a weekly cup-of-Jo, you could help SOSVV improve air quality, extend the moratorium on chemical aerial spraying, #NoAerialSprayBOCO, defend our 2021 CO Supreme Court victory protecting 800+ acres, under imminent threat as the legal battle for the land (+a Bald Eagle nest) is playing out NOW at the CO Appeals Court–again– kinda feels like Groundhog's Day came early.

*Join SOSVV & The Good Neighbors this Friday, January 5th @ 4 PM for CEMEX Air Quality Permit Zoom

To learn more about what we do, our 2024 initiates or how YOU can help our local environment– visit SOSVV's new website tonight! Don't delay, our end-of-year funding campaign is wrapping-up in just a few hours and your Tax-deductible support helps create a big difference in the world!

Thank you for being a part of our mission...from our dedicated SOSVV volunteer team & Board, we wish you a peaceful & the happiest New Year ever. 2023 was a BIG & 2024 is promising more!

Sincerely,
Amanda Dumenigo
