Founded in 2017, Save Our St. Vrain Valley (SOSVV) has proven its unwavering dedication and advocacy for the preservation of the St. Vrain Valley's unique geological, historical, and natural heritage. Our mission, deeply rooted in a commitment to environmental protection and conscientious development, is to safeguard this irreplaceable landscape for residents, wildlife, visitors, and future generations.

Over the past five years, SOSVV has emerged as a formidable force in environmental activism. We have championed key campaign victories and tirelessly defended the Valley against the encroachment of industrial uses, maintaining its integrity against the challenges of de-facto rezoning and spot zoning. Our campaigns are hallmarked by holding influential entities like Martin Marietta Materials, Aggregate Industries, CEMEX, Boulder County Land Use Department, and Boulder County Parks and Open Space accountable to the community. We ensure they adhere to Special Use permit expirations, regulatory policies, and respect the Valley’s residents, its wildlife, and its longstanding uses.
